What I'm Thankful For

First of all, I'm thankful for all of you who follow and read this blog, and my other miscellaneous fangirl hobbies. Thank you, without any of you I would be classified as a loser, and I like to tell myself at night that I'm not a loser.
The second thing that I'm grateful for would probably have to be the freedom of expressing yourself. I had a very heated argument with my mother earlier this morning because she didn't appreciate my legit snake tattoo on my arm. It looks real, I'm proud of myself. I also am grateful for artistic expression because I'm one of those people who writes-- a lot! Any genre, poetry, songs, plays, sonnets, all of it.
One of the other things I'm grateful for is: Chase ❤ . No explanation needed.
And not last, and definitely not the least; my three best friends. I love each of them SO MUCH they don't even know. All three of them have volunteered as tribute to be the moon in my darkest night even when the sun has turned it's back on me. I love them dearly! And, I don't even know if I want to go into detail with all the stories I've got piled up. They would make damn good comedies. I'll have to do that sometime.

Impossible

So the impossible has been done. Oh, this is Meggy BTW. I don't do text language that much unless I'm bored. Anyways, I went to the library after school and looked around. Usually books call my name like "Meggy! Meggy! Read me! You know you want to!" And I pick up the book and read the summary and sometimes I read them. That is how I got addicted to Wings by Aprilinne Pike. I probably spelled her name wrong. That series is addicting. But when it was time to go, I didn't check out a book! Those of you that know me, you're like "Whoa!!! That is impossible!" Then again I can do unexpected things. Only one book intrigued me and it was a second book in a series and the first book wasn't there so I didn't get it. It's called Sapphire Blue or something like that. I can barely remember. The first book is like Ruby Red or something so... yeah. I just thought it was weird that I didn't get a book from the library. And today was just weird. One of those days when you are heavy hearted and depressed and you feel like theres only one friend that will listen but she's with her boyfriend and you don't want to ruin the moment for her. And the guy I like was all weird today too. Now, clarification, I'm mad. Mad = the mad hatter type of mad. I'm not just weird. Sooooo... just post comments or just read. I would love to hear what you're thinking. How are you today? Do you have any questions? I think that it's cool that we have over fifty views since we started this like two weeks ago. Love you guys! Love Does Not Knowest Thy Boundaries

           *bum-bum bum-bum bum-bum bum-bum* Do you hear that? That was the sound of my heart beating like it's pumped in with adrenaline. It's not. It's filled with something much better... Metemorphalimin. Sorry, you guys probably have no idea what I'm talking about. That's okay, just forget I said that. For those of you who think my love life consists of only fictional characters.... you're mostly correct. BUT NOT TODAY! I'm pretty impressed with myself, he's seventeen, a little older than me, but he's absolutely smitten <3. So, I knew this guy before, I just haven't seen him in a couple years. Puberty looks well on him, he's around 6'. So, here's my story.
          These last few weeks we've been messaging on Facebook a lot. Like insanely so. Let me just say, he's sweet, good with kids, has faith in God, knows his country, sews, is a neat freak, and can clean. Back off, he's MINE! I should really just screenshot these, but I don't feel like it. So, we're just being really sweet on each other, seriously, I should screenshot this! We were playing Truth or Dare, it was fun, the only guy I've played it with who's respectful. It was fun, like, I wanna tell y'all every detail, but at the same time, I don't. And you probably don't wanna hear it, so.. I guess it all works out.
       So back to the Facebook. He has my number, and I believe we got engaged like four times on Instant Message, it was kind of funny. But, my mom wasn't home, so I had my phone with me at midnight, which she usually has since I'm grounded. I was texting other people, that's what I do. I get a text message from him at midnight on the dot (Why is it always that time with me?) and it read: Do you have any plans Wednesday? :) I did, so he walked me home today and I am proud to say I am singing Mindy Gledhill and not caring. I'm gonna bore you for just one more paragraph as I tell you about my walk home.
         He was at the cement block that has Bad Wolf graffitied all over it and I was like, "OMG! He's for real!" And he already knows my friends, so that's cool. It's not cool that they called him a pedophile though. I wasn't okay with that. So we're walking home, and I swear, it was like being the main character in a chic-flick. He's like "It's cold outside", and then he put a beanie on me, and then a scarf, and then a cuddle. I gave him back the beanie because he looked adorable in it, eventually the scarf, but he's a good cuddler <3 So we were talking and all that. We were almost to my house, and we had talked about hair, and I told him I was getting mine cut, and he was like, "No, I like it this way", and OOOOOOHHH MYYYY GAAAAWWWWSSSSHHHH! He's perfect. And I'm gonna keep skipping parts of my story, because I can. So we're in my driveway, I hug him goodbye, and he kisses my cheek. I go to kiss his, he turns his head! Yea, nice try buddy. Awww, so sweet. He's texting me now, but... I don't know. Love does not knowest thy boundaries. My cheek is still hotter than my cocoa. Thanks for listening to me.

Nonsense!!!YaY!!!

It's Meggy, I'm so bored right now... I just watched both Princess Diaries last night for the first time. I like Joe. He's funny but smart. One comment that hit me was when he said something like "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Not sure if that's accurate, doing this from memory. It felt like a smack to the face. I also watched Lion king, Lion King 1 1/2, and Lion King 2. They were pretty good. A long time ago, well, not too long, Madi said I was like the monkey. His name being Rafiki. I love him. "Not 'like' but 'love'" HAHA!!! I made a reference quote!!! Sorry. I don't even know why I'm apologizing. Well, She was right and I gotta go.

Seriousness

'Sup, it's Meggy, your total all the way round gal. Don't know what to post but wanted to post, I guess this week it's serious so I just want to say something serious. STOP IT!!!!! You're probably thinking, stop what? Well, I'll explain, stop everything your doing and read this seriously. Humor will probably be placed on accident because I don't know what ya'll find funny. Look at everyone around you. do you not like one of them, do you love one of them? Why do you not like that person? Why do you like that person? Why? Why? Why? It's usually what the person likes or dislikes. What is it that they like that you don't? I can say from recent experiences that I like something that most everyone hates me for. You ready? One Direction. I like their music. I like how they act, but who says that that is who they really are? They could put up a face for the cameras. They probably really hate each other or spend too much time together. You never know. I also slowly realized (after billions of times of saying this and not believing it) boys are stupid. Now you're probably saying I'm a hypocrite, just keep reading. All of my friends, including mostly guys and like two girls, say I look nice with my hair curled. There's a guy in my theatre class that I'm not sure if I like and it hurts. I decided to curl my hair just the other day because there was 45 minutes of nothing to do. Seventh period, theatre class, I walk in and that guy drove me insane. He was annoying and only noticed me because I changed my looks. I was beyond pissed. That night I cut myself for the first time and cried for a bit. I'm getting off topic, sorry. What I'm getting at is that if you don't like a person then try to get to know them, they might be your worst enemy or your best friend. Don't judge them, 'cause just one look could seriously hurt a person. This was complete honesty, so don't hurt them as much as I was hurt by that one person. I shall not state names because, well, yeah. In conclusion, just one look could cause too much pain for one to bear.

P.S. I don't even know One Direction so I don't think it correct to have a crush on any of them, but they have good music and cool names. If you ever read this one day, I seriously don't care, I'm being honest.

Mind Palace

  

       Hey Guys! So, you probably read the heading, and were like, "Yes! We're back to fandoms!". Well, kind of. I'm still feeling serious because this week is tougher for me, just a lot of stress and all. But, I do love my Sherlock, so I'm not going to be cruel.

Sorry, but I'm having a really bad day. Ha, I have a Supernatural GIF for that, but I didn't feel like looking for it. On Saturday, maybe, if I feel like it. So anyways, Mind Palaces. Weird little fact for you, but BBC isn't the first mention of a Mind Palace, there's actually an entire study on it. Not gonna bore you with it all, unless you comment me with the suggestion. Ditto with the Wonder Woman Theory.

      So, Mind Palaces. What are your guys Mind Palaces. Mine is my roof. Well, it's one of them. But back to my roof. Don't worry, it's not high. If I jumped, the worst that could happen is I break my knees, and that's if I tried my hardest. My Mind Palace is my Mind Palace because it's a place where I can get away from life, breathe a little, and... THINK (it's the new sexy) . So yea, tell me what your Mind Palace is. I'll read it. This post is just gonna be short, I have Bones to watch.

     

BLUE RIBBONS!!!!

'Sup, it's Meggy, nuthin' much going on, just wanted to post so... yeah, WEAR BLUE RIBBONS. I haven't actually had those thoughts but I know a lot of people who think that way, they need the love and the support. I want you all to know that I'll go crazy with the blue ribbons, so if you could all support me in the act and support those who are thinking this way. I walked into advisory today, the only one at the time who was actually careless. I felt bad for Madi when she looked ready to cry, so I decided to tell her some funny news from my theatre class. Well, there you go, have fun with the blue ribbons. Heck, I wouldn't care if you wore them all over your body!!!

Upcoming Awareness

       Hey Guys! Sorry, I  haven't posted these last couple days, I've had my reasons. One being, I'm grounded. The other being, I'm getting ready for a Supernatural marathon, which will be followed with Doctor Who, Bones, and so on and so forth. I did notice that Meghan posted. Yay! Now the real reason I'm blogging today is not to bore you to death with my fangirl problems, or my life problems, or just all this boring crap you don't want to hear. This post I actually wanted to raise awareness for November 20.

       On November 20, 2014 is Awareness and Support for Self-Harming.  This is how it's gonna work. If you have ever self harmed, have had thoughts of suicide, or been abused, wear a black ribbon around your left wrist. If you've never had those but are against bullying and want to support, wear a blue ribbon. Now, if you see someone wearing a black ribbon, draw a butterfly somewhere on them and write your name underneath. This is the Butterfly project. They're not allowed to scrub them off unless they hurt themselves. Then all their Butterflies die. One other thing, if you know someone who has commit suicide, write their name or initials on your fingers. Thanks, and please support. I'm gonna post some pictures to help motivate you. I'm gonna post a lot, because I didn't really plan this out, it was kind of a heat of the moment thing.

Superheroes, Fangirls, and Propaganda

       So, I FINALLY got myself all caught up with Marvel Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D and the Flash. WHOOHOO!

So since it's kinda been a superhero day- especially since I took a Man of Steel and Smallville break- just take a second to send me a photograph and/or information on your favourite superhero in the comment section below. Now, the rules for this, your hero can be any character from a comic book. Whether its a hero like:

            Or even a bystander or damsel in distress: Louis Lane. No, I'm not putting a picture of her below. I only like her when she's Wonder Woman. I know, you guys are all like, "What are you smoking?", BUT, I will explain my Wonder Woman/Louis Lane Theory in a different post. Mainly, because I don't feel like explaining it right now. We're off topic. So, back to the whole superhero-picture thingy. So if you're CEO of Geek Headquarters just as I am, and you wanna give me Zattana, go ahead and say her if your heart truly desires. I don't know why your heart would desire that, I didn't even bother to post a pic for y'all, and ya know me, I love posting pictures! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are totally valid in this. And since I said anyone who has been in an official, published comic book counts, I must also allow characters from the Walking Dead.

            Just out of curiosity, what are all y'alls favourite superhero cliques? And mind you, there's a lot to choose from. TMNT, X-Men, Avengers, JLA, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Incredibles, The Fantastic Four, etc. Feel free to leave that in the comments as well. I promise, I do read them. I have one other question for you. What makes a hero a hero? Is it supernatural abilities, the inability to comprehend the word underwear, or that they wear spandex to show off their steroids? (I'm sorry, I really shouldn't make fun of superheroes, they were my first fandom :) It's all good, we're all a family! Yes, I have superhuman abilities. SHHH! Don't tell anyone!)  I'm just going to think about a hero I have the opportunity to see everyday. I have actually written an essay on her, which I later had to turn into her for a grade 8O! Even though I swore like a very educated sailor, (Hey, Supernatural was involved for most of it) I somehow received extra credit. I think it was that last reference.
          Anyway, what defines a hero to you? For me personally, it would be: Dedication, Courage, Protective, Cocky, Brilliant, Loyal, and Humble. Just keep that in your mind, and if you find anybody who you would recognize as a hero, let them know! And just because I can't decide between Avengers or JLA...

          So, I missed last weeks episode of Once Upon a Time, and I'm catching myself up to avoid issues in the future, and my mom's watching me the entire time. Then Hook and Emma kiss, and I

And my mom's like, "Madeline, what was that?". And I was like, "That was my OTP Squee", I just had to inform her. Then she wondered what OTP stood for, and I told her it stood for One True Pairing. And do you know what she said? This is what she said: "I would've thought from watching you watch Doctor Who that it stood for Oh The Pain". I kinda just sat there with my jaw on the counter for a second, because that shit was true.  "Well, yea, because everything and everyone involved with the new couple that I ship either dies, regenerates, hates the Doctor, or forgets about him altogether", I informed her. And she laughed at me! Then she wanted to know more fangirl vocabulary, and let me just say, this is gonna tale awhile. We've got a long way to go before I introduce Fanfiction.
         Speaking of fanfics, I have one that I'm currently working on on www.wattpad.com titled "Undercover Heroes". It's a mix of most of the fandoms, but mainly focuses on #SuperWhoLock.        #NotEvenSorry It's Tuesday! That means I had voice today and I get to post my songs of the week and theatre stuff, and all that jazz. Whether or not this shall be monthly, biweekly, or weekly, has not yet been determined. YES! Tuesday shall be my stage day. Oooh, William Shakespeare quote coming in 3... 2... 1... "All the world's a stage, the people merely characters, the events merely a script". Can anyone remember what play or sonnet that's from, or is it just a quote? I don't know. A sonnet, what was I thinking? A sonnet is a musical piece. My apologies.
     
        For those of you who are full-on thespians, or even if you're not, I demand you to go watch "The Sound of Music" this very second. I don't care if you've already seen it, watch it again. The reason I say this, is because the song I'm working on from my book of showtunes is "Sixteen Going on Seventeen". I like to think that I'm getting good at it. Whether or not I actually am is a completely different story ;) Maybe one day I'll post a video of myself singing. Don't worry, I won't make you watch it. But if I had a video of me reenacting "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked" with my headphones on, that would make you watch, because it's hilarious.

         A word to the stupid, don't ever bite a gel pain reliever. NOT COOL! My mouth will never feel the same again. Those things light your gums on fire. I'm serious, it felt like someone dripped asaxyphalichloric acid all over them. Yea, that's an undiscovered acid. It's native to the planet Galifrey. And here all the Timelords are staring at me like, "Umm, not even the TARDIS can translate your stupidity". Yea, they're right. But still! Biting into one of those makes your tongue go numb, and they make you salivate like a rabid animal. Just don't be stupid. Don't do it.

         So all you (What are we up to now? Two, globally) Adam Lambert fans (Glamberts), he's mentioned quite heavily in this post. And all you Ackleholics (Jensen Ackles fans), I found him covering Adam Lambert's "Runnin'". I think if they did a duet of that song together, it'd be like my version of porn, it's seriously just that sexy.

         Because I'm 50% of all Glamberts, I wanted to post one of his songs that's really personal to me and hits close to home.      I really love this man. One of my favorite quotes by him is: "Never be afraid to be who you are, no matter what anyone says or thinks". So that is why we have so many of his songs up on the list this week. Oh, and also, fellow Glamberts, HE"S NOT GAY! He's bisexual. But still! Bigger percentage of getting to him. Because Benedict Cumberbatch had to go and get engaged. Grr. Still, I think
